Materials Tester & Data Entry: Research and Development SupportAbout VenTara/Hi-Tech FabricsVenTara is a Global supplier of engineered fabric that manufactures and sources customer-specific products. We guarantee our customer's product quality by establishing our own quality control teams and systems. This helps our customers avoid the nuances of establishing operations in a different country. Our company assures a stable supply chain and risk management for our customers by understanding their forecasts and consumption rate needs.This role will begin as part-time, and has the opportunity to transition to a full-time role if desired. You do not need to have any experience in textiles; you will be trained by our team on how to test fabrics in our lab. Previous experience or any form of education in textiles is a plus.Position: Research & Development SupportFor this position, your major duties will include but are not limited to:

• Testing fabric samples for physical properties.
• Reviewing testing reports.
• Taking meeting notes for ongoing R&D projects.
• Entering test data into MS Teams and MS Excel.
• Communicating via email and video conference to our international offices for feedback on product development.
• Reporting test results during meetings.
• Filing testing data and keeping strict records according to standard procedures.Requirements

  • Able to learn from constructive criticism.
  • Proficient at multitasking.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Teams, Excel, Outlook, and Word).
